VAT Seup changes

Hi All,

I need confirmation on VAT setups changes.
I am using the Navision 4.0 indian version for uk people.I have 12%,14% in my system.Is shown as 12% at the moment.I am planning to put back to the 14%.Is the below places are sufficient to change
Item
Genral product posting groups
chart of accounts
is the aboce places are sufficient to change the above changes.

    Do you want to replace all your VAT Prod. Posting groups "12%" by "14%"?
    If yes why don't you do the next:
    1. Rename your VAT prod. posting group (if already existing) "14%" as (for instance) "14%bak"
    2. Rename your VAT prod. posting group "12%" as "14%"
    3. Rename back your VAT prod. posting group "14%bak" as "14%".

    You don't have to take care of all the tables in which a VAT Prod Posting group is, Navision wil do the job for you.

    Thanks for the replay,
    I am not repalcing from 12% to 14%.I am leaving VAT 12% as it is.And i am putting 14 % setup new.This 14% already exisists in the system.Which forms i have to change back from 12% to 14%.

    You must check all records you use in Sales and Purchase to check the VAT Prod Posting Group:
    G/L Account
    Item
    Ressource (only for sales)
    Charge (Item)
    Fixed Assets
