Employee Portal NAS Service Error -Urgent

Hello all

I am using NAv 5.0 and i have install all the componants on the server including employee portal and application server
when i trying to start the application server service I am getting the following error message

"Could not start the application server for microsoft dynamics nav classic Nevision-service on local computer
Error 1 : Incorrect function "

I have started it from a command prompt. it is giving an error saying that "The Specified service does not exist as an Install service".

Could any one help in solving this issue...... :-( :-(

    Just see which user u r running NAS with.... In services, against NAS, in log on tab, you must assign a domain user and then restart the service. This should solve your error.
