TCPcommand send / recieve

I am not familiar how to use Automation object. I have an activeX: "Socket wrench" that allows to send and receive data through TCP. I need to be able to do this in Navision. So here is what I need:
Assign IP, assign port #
Establish socket connection
Send ASCII string
Receive ASCII string
Close connection
Preferably I'd like to see it as a codeunit, so that I can execute commands from a form code. I asked for help to my local Navsion developers, but they are not able to do this so far.
I am willing to pay for this, but did not find someone who knows how to do this. I searched this forum, found some things, but not a complete solution.
Project needs to be finished by the end of the week, and I am in trouble.
Thanks for your help.
