Warehouse Employees

Dear Sir/Madam,
We need to make a user to be responsible for making transactions related to a specific location only. I found two features may help but both I might have trouble to understand;
1. Warehouse employees: where I can set a user for a spcific location but it seems not restricting the user from using any other location.
2. Responsibility Center: which I really started to consider.
Which one I supposed to use?
Thank you for your cooperation.
Best Regards

If you want to Make this user responsible for only one location.
I am assuming you have added the location code and ticked default for the warehouse employee setup you can then go to the user security and role then for the WMS system set a security filter for location table = for the value of the location code you want them to operate in.0 -
Warehouse employee relates to whether the users can see warehouse documents for the location they're setup.
The responsbility relates to whether users can see orders entered in different responsbility centers.
It may be a hybrid, but I'd get more details on what your customers intended to do before suggesting either solution.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

Thank you all for your kind replies.
My client wishes to prevent the user to be able to make transactions on locations other than what he/she supposed to work on. That's all what he wants.

Then responsibility centers is what you should look into.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog
