Intercompany Dimensions

I am trying to default the dimensions for IC transactions, for e.g.

Dimension List

1. ATL
2. HOU
3. LAK
4. AUB

I have the following IC partners and I am trying to setup the following (if possible it should automatically show on each IC document/ journal entry in the INBOX)

1. IC1 (All IC transaction coming in from any partner should have dimenson HOU)
2. IC2 (All IC transaction coming in from any partner should have dimenson LAK)
3. IC3 (No Restriction)
4. IC4 (No Restriction)

Question: I want the dimension to automatically populate when a document or a journal entry comes into the inbox.

    Wouldn't it be easier to have dimension automatically inserted from sending entity ?

    MAP your IC dimensions make sure values match, Go to your IC partner Card Add the dimension you want to populate EG asscoiate CODE ATL with IC partner ATL or whatever your preference.

    Then each time you create you create your outgoing document you will have the dimesnion included and should be in your recievers inbox.
