Update of Posted Document Lines

I need to update the lines of a posted document and get the following update in G/L and also in Dimensions.
I don’t want to change the Total Amount of the document or event the calculated VAT. I just want to change the posted lines, the value of the line and the dimensions. The total value of the lines will remain the same.

Anyone had a wonderful tool or idea to do that?!

Remember that the total value of the lines will be same, I will just make a redistribution of the total amount for the lines, and I need to also change de dimensions.

Original Posted Document Lines
L1 = 100 USD with Dimension 01
L2 = 200 USD with Dimension 02
L3 = 300 USD with Dimension 03

New Posted Document Lines
L1 = 150 USD with Dimension 04
L2 = 459 USD with Dimension 01
L3 = 0 USD

Any ideas how to do that and maintain all the consistent around the database?

    Yeah, don't post your order until it's correct :D

    Why are you doing this? What is the business requirement?

    The requirement is Dimensions Analysis at the end of the month.

    The controller sometimes wants to change the distribution in one same product.

    The product is the same, the total of all dimensions is the same, but the dimensions values need to be “fixed” for reporting purposes and analysis.

    I think this is a bad idea, but everything is controlled via the posted document dimension table. Don't be surprised if you run into problems...and test, test, test.

    Just create a GL journal to reverse the GL entries. And then re-post with the new values.
