Hi, guys.

Does anyone have an idea on how to bold control's caption in NAV 2009 SP1 role-tailored client?

There is no way to do that without using own add-in for such a control. You need to know that the RTC is focused on "what" to display and not "how" to display it. It is prepared to be displayed on different displays (mobile device, web, rich client etc.) thus no "formating" of the output like colors, fonts etc.

A new Style property was added to page field controls in SP1. Is this what you're looking for?

Thank you for the reply, kine. It seems like this is the only applicable option.

With this property you can only manipulate the formatting of the textbox, but not its caption :-k

Kine is spot on here. RTC is about what and not how. Thus as jillfrank wrote we added the Style/StyleExpression in SP1 to support value styling/abstractions (Strong. Attention, etc.).

What is the reason that you want to bold the caption? Can you please explain the scenario?
