Anybody found strange results opening a V5 database with 2009 Classic Client ?
This 'technical' upgrade has been possible between versions since forever .. however I am finding for example the G/L by Dimension consistently does not work if opened in 2009 .. import the 2009 object and all is fine ..
The concern is not this screen .. but what else does not work and why ? I have annecdotally had very simple code in V5 not work when opened in 2009 .. usually to do with FIND or GET.
(BTW I have tried a simple recompile of the V5 object to no avail)
Thoughts appreciated

I have 3 clients that have exe upgrade. The issue with the form for G/L by Dimension is that the CASE statement is case sensitive.
You can can change the function from code to text and you should be fine. There is a blog about this as well and this topic has been discussed here.
Main reason for exe upgrade is to use webservices features.0
