Purpose of Rounding Residual Buffer Table

Hi All,
I want to know purpose of Rounding Residual Buffer Table.
When and how Rounding Residual Buffer table is used/Updated (Record Inserted/Update) in Navision.

Please advice..

    If you are a developer, create a new database, delete the table and compile all objects... :wink:

    It is used by the "Adjust Cost" process to support rounding residual entries posting process.

    Now you ask "What is a rounding residual".

    Let's say you purchase 1 case of product at $1.00 that contains 3 units. You see each unit on a separate sales order. Each unit is costed at 0.33 each. You now have zero quantity remaining but .01 in value. "Adjust Cost" creates a rounding entry to clear that remaining penny and zero the valuation.
    There are no bugs - only undocumented features.
