error installing 2009 SP1 employee portal

Hi,

when installing the nav 2009 SP1 employee portal i got the following message:
web.config does not exist in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\virtualdirectories\80\

the installer runs on and gives a "succesfully installation".

in Sharepoint i can not sellect the Demo webparts or any navision webparts.

Who can help me. :-k

    HI Night Rod,


    I got the same error as you just running the install as norm, i tried changing the 80 directory to one aleady there but still had the same error message :S

    Hi nightrod,
    When you setup Fromt end, you must enter the part of your site.
    Example: i setup WSS and create new Web Application with port = 10000. So it creates automatically folder at C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\10000, and your site has URL is http://localhost:10000.
    When setup Front end you modify this information in Server Name window, uncheck option "I'm using IIS's default website", then enter your path below.

    Solve your problem: not have web.config because your site has no site collection. Go to Central Administration, and create new Site collection.
