only two entries in G/l entry..having multiple FA Lines..

After posting lines from purch. invoice.. can i have only two line in G/L entry(by doing Navigate).
suppose i hv posted 5 lines for different fixed assets..
now for dis entry i want to hav only two lines inposted purch. invoice in G/L entry/..one for debit nd one for credit..only..
hw it can b workrd out?

    Fixed Assets are tracked separately from each other. Same as items.

    If you had 5 items on a purchase order, you would expect to see G/L Entries for the costs of each of those items as well as entries for the vendor.

    Of course I'm no finance expert, so there may be a way to do what you're asking.

    For same query is it possible to hav only two lines..In G/l Entry in Posted entry...eventhough i hav multiple items.??
    If yes..Plz tell me the steps..

    what i want to do is..
    Suppose i hav multiple lines of items assume 5..
    nd want to post them..
    After posting i need to hav only two lines in G/L entry..one for All items having all
    items amount's total..and another is single entry in G/L..

    Any suggestions are Appriciated..!!
