Error while opening database

When I open database in NAV, it gives me an error that "Database has already been converted to the newer version, You must upgrade your Navison to the latest version in order to open the Database",
Is it possible to open the database in lower version says , Nav 4.0?

You'll need to take a backup and then restore it. Then try to open it with a 4.0 client. I don't think that always works, though. There are many posts on this subject in the forum.0
