Find & Replace a period [.]

In doing a "Find & Replace" on a field of a card, the replace portion is disabled if a period is part of the Find text other than in the original value of the field you are on. Comma, semi-colon, etc are all acceptable. Only the period appears to disable the Replace window. I have not been able to locate any prior discussion on this. Not urgent but thought it a bit odd. Any thoughts?

I'm afraid you can't do find & replace if your find string contains any operator used in filters syntax. Period is a part of range operator [..], not operator itself, but this is just how NAV client works.

Many thanks. I was hopeful that there might be some outside chance that it could be encased within a single quote or something similar. Alas...0
