do we have any option in Manufacturing?

hi all,

In Manufacturing module do we have an option to split the Inventory and put it back to inventory (receiprocal of Consumption).

for eg., we receieve a goods from corporate office as "ABC KIT" that ABC kit contains the following inventories ie
Item QTY
A 1
B 1
S 1
D 1
now we want to break this kit into Seperate pieces and put it back into inventory books,
another example :- we receive a cycle wheel from corporate office and we want to take out the reem,spokes,tyre and tube then put it back to the inventory. is it possible in manufacturing?

    Nav supports your requirement .


    Receive the cycle and do the negative adjustment of bicycle (select the dimension)

    Do the postive adjustment for the spareparts ( like tube , reem.....) and select the Dimension.

    but this doesnt have any track like which kit we had spilted up? there should be something like auto consumption in Manufacturing.

    If you are taking wheel in to inventory.
    Define a BOM for one of your output, say reem.
    put other outputs as its by-products in BOM lines (i.e. Negative).
    and wheel as input item.
    Make a production Order for reem and proceed.
