Hi All,

Does anyone have experience with automation in NAV? we would like for NAV to automatically import data from the FTP server. can this be done or any 3'rd party software can do this?

please share your thought about this.

thanks for the reply.

well i did some searching in the forum and well it seems most of them is about exporting data.
but what i'm looking for is how to importing data automatically from FTP server to NAV. i just wondering if it's actually possible to do this. anyone have experince it this kind of transaction?

so the case is that my client is having another vendor to manage their warehouse. and all the shipment and receiving is done by this vendor. And at the end of each the day, the vendor sent the warehouse transaction (shipment and receiving) thourgh FTP sever to my client HQ. and now my client want this transaction to be imported automatically into NAV. so can it be done?

any advice?

If you have solution for exporting, where is the problem to try use them for importing? Did you look at the used automations etc.?
