I read this earlier...........
i tried uninstalling it earlier but of no help......
actually have no server. on sme machine i am installing both Nav client (not SQL) and NAS.
Is there some problem due to that0 -
you should first either create a database in SQL server or a navision database server0

On your product cd there's a folder called "Doc". In this folder there is a file called "w1w1ATAS.pdf". This file is the installation manual for NAS, and contains all the information that you need to successfully install and run NAS.
From there it is a matter of troubleshooting. The error says "server not found". This means that it cannot find the server. Is there a server with that name? Do you have a native C/SIDE database server running? Do you have SQL Server? Which NAS are you trying to use? These are all questions that I have when I see your problem. The best thing to do is study (not just glance over or casually read, but study) the manual, follow along with each step, and see if you have got all the steps set up correctly.0 -
If you look at the configuration of your NAS through the snap-in, try using the IP address of the server, instead of the server name.0
