NAV Professional certification - Clarification

I thought i would share the fruits of a long call to microsoft to help anyone who may have the the same confusions i did.
There are 2 levels of certification specialist and professional a specialist is just passing any single exame while the professional is a group of exams seen below.
Firstly the note on the home pages was a bit vague so i called to clarify
"To become certified as a Microsoft Certified Business Management Solutions Professional, you must successfully complete the exams that are based on the current version of the product or you must successfully complete the most recent version of the exams."
So what i learnt was the following
To become a professional you must do all your exams in the same version unless there is no later version for the exam.
So we will have to do all 2009 exams except for the costing exam which is still only version 4.
Then i asked about the sql/windows exams for I & c certification i argued whats the point in doing 2005 when 2008 is out. The answer was it will be updated soon to make 2008 sql the standard to pass, so making 2005 certificates pointless.
In summary MS confuse the hell out of themselves

MS Exam: TS: 70-431: Microsoft SQL 2005 – Implementation and Maintenance
Elective Exams (2 exams required)
Financials in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
C/SIDE Introduction in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Trade & Inventory in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Warehouse Management in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Manufacturing in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
MS Exam 70-290: Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment
MS Exam 70-291: Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure
Core Exams (1 exam required)
Financials in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Elective Exams (3 exams required)
Relationship Management in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Manufacturing in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Service Management in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Warehouse Management in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Trade & Inventory in Microsoft Dynamics NAV

You will always be a Specialist in the Functional Area for the version you passed. As exams are retired you will not have all of the current certifications required to stay a Professional so you will have to retake on a supported version.
That's how I've understood it. We'll see when all of my 4.0 exams are retired
