Install client 5.0 sp1 without SQL Express

Does anyone know how to install client 5.0 sp1 without SQL Express. (I have downloaded the client from Mibuso) I am installing it on windows 2008 64 bit server (Citrix). The setup tells me SQL 2005 Exress is a requirement. I don't want to install Express, because we have the full version of SQL server.

    I think i remember just click cancel when it goes to install sql 2005 as i had wanted to install 2008 express. IF i remember it cancel the sql install and continues with the installation?

    No, it does not. It just cancels the installation. Weird...? Maybe it has something to do with Windows 2008 server 64 bit?

    Hi,

    This is quirky. First you are asked to install and if you say no the whole installation cancels so you must say yes and later you are prompted again and then say no.

    It worked. :-k Just click install for the SQL express installation. Then you will get another screen where you can click "no" and then it will continue installing the client. :whistle: I was a bit reluctant to continue because the installation is on our citrix farm.
