How to get back NAV5 database from NAV2009 database???

Hi Experts,

If NAV 5 database converted to NAV 2009 then how can I

get back NAV 5 database( Actually some new objects are created in the database).

If there any solution then pls reply.

    Hi,

    If no transactions were posted then the conversion will not have stuck on you should be able to open the DB with 5 client.


    Otherwise you will need to backup the data and restore to 5, and I'm afraid it not as easy with the objects I know forms are a rpoblem and a 2009 FOB will not restore into prior versions due to some of the page properties, but can be edited/corrected in notepad if output as text.

    Best solution is to tkae the objects from a latest 5 backup.


    No quick n'd easy fix I'm afraid

    NAV 2009 objects has version tag of 6.00.. may be you can filter those out.
