Mis-matched warehouse entry?

Does anyone know a valid reason why you would have a "quantity" that is different than your "qty. (base)" in a warehouse entry when your "Qty. per Unit of Measure" is 1? I would think these numbers should always be the same in that case ...am I missing something or am I dealing with a bug?

May be some buggy customization? Sometime when you mess data on the documents like orders you can have wrong entries...0

Ok, that's kind of what I thought. I just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing some business logic that could lead to this as a valid result. There has been a very heavy amount of customization to this code so it wouldn't surprise me if it were a bug. Thanks for the answer
