Combining tables in form?

Maybe I'm just too dumb to get those matrix boxes to work, maybe there's even a better way of doing it:

My aim is to create a form (view only) for the "sales invoice lines"
However, I'd need some fields from the "sales invoice header" , e.g. "currency code" and maybe some more.
I thought Matrix Boxes would be the way to achieve, but manual and searching forum didn't help alot.

Hopefully, someone can give a better alternative or steps-by-step guide for matrix?

    forgot to mention, that it'd be a "sales invoice line" - overview (containing columns from "sales invoice headers"

    (1) After you create a form for Sales Invoice Line, create a global variable, say "SalesInvHdr" - Rec type - Sales Invoice Header

    (2) Link it to the Sales Invoice Line, for example:

    IF "Document No." = '' THEN SalesInvHdr.INIT ELSE SalesInvHdr.GET("Document No.");

    (3) Fill the textbox's SourceExpr = SalesInvHdr."Currency Code".

    Use Table Box instead of Matrix. Anyway, isn't there facilities to create form using a wizard in 3.60? :shock:

    thx watung,

    I "linked" (whatever that means) by putting:
    IF "Document No." = '' THEN SalesInvHdr.INIT ELSE SalesInvHdr.GET("Document No.");
    into the form's section:
    OnAfterGetRecord()
    and it seems to work.

    I'm running 3.10A and haven't seen any magicians yet ;)
