Posting Warranty Service Orders

Is anyone aware of a less tedious way to post warranty service orders? Currently, the users have to create the service order, then enter a service invoice line with 100% discount, then post the service order, then finally go to the Sales Invoice, and post that. Seems like a lot of steps. Any suggestions would be welcome!
Thank you!

There is a setting in Service setup that allows you to say what the system should do when the serive order is posted. It is on the defaults tab and is normally set to Unposted Invoice. If you change thsi to Posted Invoice the system will automatically generate and post the sales invoice for you.
