Changes to Development Code Log

Hi Everyone,

I' ve been searching everywhere for some type of add-on or something which keeps track or logs changes to Code, Reports etc. What I am searching for is some type of Code Repository where all actual changes can be stored.

Please take a look at the Object Manager.

I have placed some movies on youtube where you can see how it works.
Trace modifications.

Sadly this is an area that the base product is really lacking and hopefully MS finds a way to integrate their existing source control tools (i.e. Visual Source Safe and Team Foundation Server) with NAV.

However in the meantime there is also a really good product put out by Celenia called Version Control. This is quite similar to functionality available in Source Safe (see: http://www.celenia.com/page1249.aspx?recordid1249=6). I've used this on at least 1 project and I've found it pretty simple to use and definately a life saver when there are mutiple users working on objects!
