compare setups in 2 companies

Hi,

I have a navision DB with with a company, i will have to create a new company from a backup(restore it as second company in same Db). after that I would like to compare whether all the setups in both the companies are same. Is there an easy way to compare these 2 companies.

    They will be identical. No need to check.

    to make my question clear. I have company 'X' in my database. I also have a backup of company 'Y' that I will be restoring.
    After restoring company Y in the DB which had company X. will both(X & Y) the companies have the same setups?

    To check that all the setups are the same, You will have to check each table.
    You can run setup checklist form and look through each table.

    By definition a backup is an exact copy of the original. There would be no point of a backup if it was different to the original.

    I dunno, X is not equal to Y (unless they happen to both represent the same value), so they may be different companies :mrgreen:
