Hi Experts
Can some one say me, What is the effect if I didnt select Automatic Cost posting in Inventory setup. If I check the program will automatically post to the inventory account, adjustment account and COGS account in the general ledger. What if I didnt check.
Thanks & Regards
Vijay

I got it, When I check the field, Cost of Purchase(debited) is posted to Inventory account for purchase , & when I sell Inventory account is credited and COGS account it debited. If I dont check, the above entry is not posted..0

Its OK to have automatic cost posting option enabled if the number of transactions is very less.
But, if the transactions are significantly high, its better to have it unchecked and use the manual posting option using batch job to avoid degradation of system performance.Regards,
