commercial ledgers and analysis by dimensions

we operate a commercial module (called buildit by evision) - this has contracts, contract sales and subcontractors

we have noticed that when we post an application or invoice in contract sales then it does not update our dimensional analysis veiws that contain GL accounts under which transactions have been posted via the posting. it would appear to take some time for the dimensional analysis balance to be updated and indeed i believe it is only be exiting nav and re-entering nav that the change takes effect

can anyone else comment on this or has anyone else experienced this

    The analysis views can be setup to be calculated when a post in GL is made (for performance reasons it is NOT a good idea) or to do manually when needed:Financial management=>General ledger=>Update Analysis Views
