Hi, when start the nas service i get this warning:
"The network path cannot be found.
This message refers to the file .
The network server may be down, or the path may be invalid."
I'm working in a local pc(as server) and a local database(database is in my hard disk).
But if i unpluged the network cable i got other warnig, that is:
"The operating system returned the error (1231):
The network location cannot be reached. For information about network troubleshooting, see Windows Help."
What that means? anyone can help me?
thanks

Had you setup the parameters for the Application Server?0

Still I think, that there is some missing parameter. Can you write parameters which you see if you connect through Navision Appl. server MMC snap-in (Microsoft management console)? (I need only DB server name and DB but for completeness I am asking for all)
Database server name =
Database =
Company name =
Start-UP Parameter =
Net type =
Object cache =0 -

Could be that your server is on machine A and your DB on is on machine B (available via a network share)
:-kNow, let's see what we can see.

Have you checked the directory and file permission?Kiki0

Although it's a bit old, I'm trying to reanimate this thread...
I have the same problem. For a test I have a native db service 4.03 on a XP machine. DB login works, but windows login doesnt work. Seems like login is requiring some information from the Active Directory Server. Any ideas? The test is for a demo, so I must work outside of our network on a single computer. BTW: The windows login is a machine user (machinename\administrator).
Thanks in advance
