1. Is there customized code?
2. Are there some customized tables
3. Are there some custumized indexes
4. Are there some customized SIFTS
5. Are there Maintenance Jobs on the SQL Server
6. Did you check why the system is slow?
7. Follow the LINK and read some posts in the "SQL Perfomance" Subforum.
x. If you doesn't know how to solve this, call your NAV partner. If you are NAV partner and you can't solve it, ask for a NAV / SQL specialist on the forum here.

Another question :
Do you have "Analysis View" for which "Update on Posting" is 'yes' ?My candle burns by both ends, it will not last the night,
But oh my foes and oh my friends, it gives a lovely light0 -
I think with posting a sales order with 100,000 lines is going to take a long time no mater what you do.
If that was not a typo, and your client really has orders with 100,000 lines then you need to think about getting some serious help on this project.David Singleton0 -
There are some functions in NAV where the time taken is exponential. 100 lines will take 10,000 times longer than 1.
Value costing can do this in some circumstances, which is why many companies run adjust cost as a batch job every night.
100 to 150 lines in a sales order will not be instantaneous, but it should not take 5 minutes easier.
100,000 lines - what are you doing? (And should you be doing it?)David Machanick
