Hi,
Can someone say
a) how to convert invertory to scrap quantity .. How to dispose it without sale ,
b ) What is the use of scrap filed in Item master.
I am using Indian Localization.

From the help system (hope you didn't read it already). This field and value is mainly used in many places related to Production process in order to calculate/estimate/deduct the scrapped quantity from the materials and BOMs
Scrap % Field
The Item Table
In this field, you can enter a number to indicate the percentage of the item (the material) you expect to be scrapped in the production process.
