When I try to open a layout of a report In Visual Studio from the Object Designer of Navision i get the following error:
"It is not possible to instantiate the Visual Studio bridge".
Can anybody help me with this?
I have installed Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 SP1 and Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition.

I have seen this once before about a year ago. We reinstalled Classic client back then and could unfortunately not repro this error message.
Could you please try to reinstall Classic client and see if this fixes the issue.

Hi Claus,
The problem was already solved. We actually "repaired" the Classic Client installation.
Then everything worked fine.
It was probably caused by the fact that I tried to install the first build of NAV2009 SP1.
After that I had to reinstall NAV2009 again. There went something wrong.
