Decimal/Number format incorrect when exporting to Excel

I am using the shortcut buttons to export data to Excel. It uses stylesheets to export the data but there seems to be a problem with the ThousandSeparator. As soon as the amount is greater than 999 then the data is exported as a string. I am using the standard stylsheet for excel that comes with Nav 2009.
Can anyone help?

Sounds like a language/region miss match.David Singleton0

Thanx for the reply.
I have checked the system's regional settings as well as Excel. They are all fine but still experiencing the problem. However, if I run the export functionality from Nav 2009 classic client, then it works (unlike Nav5).
Desperate.... replaced the fin.etx & fin.stx files with the ones from Nav2009 but still not working.
Any other suggestions?0 -
Done some more testing.
If I convert the Nav5 database using a Nav 2009 Classic client and import the Nav 2009 style sheet, then the data exports correctly to excel
Not the solution I am looking for though.0
