I have items marked open in the ledger entries, but they wont pull in as suggested lines.
i think they were on a bank rec before but the rec was deleted before posting....i think its from somoene starting and deleteing to restart a rec.
where should i look to get these items to pull back into the rec?

You need to look at the Open and Statement Status fields on the Bank Account Ledger Entries. For a entry to be picked up it has to be Open in the Statement Status and in whatever date range you are specifying in the Suggest routine

i am using the native database too

In bank card you can see bank ledger entries by selecting ledger entries.
Dates in statements are related to posting date, you can also see if line is already recociliated by looking at open field.0 -
yes i am aware of that, and thats what i am saying in my first post, that in the ledger entries, they are marked as open.
where can i see the statement status field? and how can i change the status field is my question- So it Goes.0 -
The statement status isn't normally shown on the ledger lines, you will need to either have the form modified to include them, zoom the lines individually or look int he table.

In bank ledger entries you have 3 fields:
- Statement Status
- Statement No.
- 10000
Has Ian_Piddington said those fields are hidden. You must change form to display those fields or make zoom.0 -
ok I am back.
how do you modify the statement status, statement no., and statement line?
I went into the table and ran it. I tried to change it in there but said that it can not be changed. it says "Bank Ledger Can not be changed in this Form"
By the way I have "God" rights and I even made a role for just that table and added it to my admin account.- So it Goes.0 -
I don't believe you can modify the bank ledger entry table without a developer's license.
If you do, you can simply create a process only report to blank those fields out, or modify the OnValidate trigger for these fields.
But before, you modify any ledger tables, make sure you test in a test database and test the hell out of it.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

no I do not have a developers licenses
so how do i fix this. this almost seems like a bug. its not right that if you delete the rec it keeps the ledger items marked as on a rec that does not exist.

You'll need to consult with your solution partner regarding this. They should know what to do.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

bummer thats BS, that means it will $$$$
so there is no solution for deleting a bank rec that is already started without a developer's licenses or calling my support and paying 150 bucks to have this fix.
man that really stinks!- So it Goes.0 -
What happens is you try to create a statment or bank rec using those same numbers that were part of the original that was deleted?.. will those entries re-appear?
If so are they changable?0 -
I think you're dealing with a bug in your current version. Even if you fix it yourself, chances are, this problem will reoccur again.
It's best to consult with your partner to get a permenent fix for this.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog
