How we connect Role Tailored Client to a remote server

I try to connect role tailored Client to a remote server database but it shows an
error.
a server was not found at "net.[url=tcp://Servername:port/DynamicsNAV/Service]tcp://Servername:port/DynamicsNAV/Service[/url]. Either the url is incorrect or the server is currently is not available



. plz help me

    By "remote server" do you mean a server that is not on the same local network? NAV is not intended to be run like this. It expects all components (clients, middle tier, DB server) to be on the same local network. Remote clients are support by Terminal Services/Citrix connections only.
    There are no bugs - only undocumented features.

    Maybe some manuals an help you first to make clear how it is working.

    1) You need to install all components first
    2) You need to setup all what is required
    3) You need to enter correct server name and instance name in the RTC

    If you will have some specific problem, just ask, right now it looks like you need to learn some basics of the system, but because you didn't wrote any specific problem, it is hard to help...
