How to add CC while sending a mail through JMAIL

Hi all,
I am able to send the mail by using JMAIL.I am having a requirement to send cc for multiplt users.When i try to give the CC as user1;user2;user3 i am getting the undeliverable message for the three users in cc. Could any one suggest me the format of user id in CC.
