Form opening to wrong tab

I have made some modifications to my client's Customer Card. I have added one or two tabs and repurposed a couple more. Now when the form is opened, it opens to one of the new tabs instead of the General tab. My client is vexed. I have tried placing CurrForm."No.".ACTIVATE in the OnOpenForm() and OnActivateForm() triggers; I have set the form's ActiveControlOnOpen property to the "No." field (control number 2), but without success. I am vexed.

The tab that the form opens to is one which I either added or repurposed (can't remember for sure), and it contains a subform that I added.

I seem to be completely unable to influence its opening behavior. Any help will be greatly appreciated...

Did you set the DelayedInsert property

That did it. Thanks Savatage. But it's interesting (now that I look at other posts on this topic

) that the answer generally is to set delayedinsert on the subform to NO. For me, setting it to YES on all my subforms did the trick (that is, stopped the form from opening to the tab with the subform and allowed it to open to the General tab).
