Please suggest a label printer

Hi,

the last time I had to use a label printer with Navision about 10 years ago they all needed special escape sequences or something similar which was quite time consuming to code. Are there nowadays label printers available which can print graphics and windows fonts like an ordinary printer? I would like to use the free3of9 font to create barcodes.

If not, can you recommend one that is at least easy to integrate?

    did you test zebra printers?
    Do you make it right, it works too!

    Hi Alex,

    The answer depends on the volume / size of labels. As Garak says Zebra printer are the market leader in barcode printing. Most printer now are able to print barcode without jumping through hoops e.g. generating ZLP file and sending to printer. I have implemented barcode label on a simple Dynamo label print with the correct driver. So in summary most printer will work.
