I want to install Dynamics Nav using Sql Express 2008. After I have installed Sql Express 2008 I start Dynamics Nav 2009 installation but it install Sql Express 2005!!! Why installer not use Sql Express 2008?? On Microsoft Technet website I see that Nav 2009 support Sql Express 2008...

If you choose to run the demo installation SQL 2005 will be installed. NAV 2009 does support SQL 2008. You should choose to install the NAV Service Tier and the Role Tailored Client instead of the demo install.Claus Busk Andersen
