hi Guru's

what is the difference between Registration , packing slip , picking list ., picking list registration.

could u explain with a good example.

    Picking List - tells you the quantity of the item, also where to pick it from and the batch number
    Picking List Registration - a step to confirm you have picked what the system told you to pick - so you can change batches and quantities etc.

    Packing Slip - depends where you are! - So the shipment note lets say.

    Registration - enables you to register the stock in to a location with a batch.

    Depending upon where the question started there are many more answers but this is your starting point.

    Well one of them updates it out the other in. The registration handles the bin and batch/serial elements - registration or picking is required so you can recieve or ship a high quantity across multiple bins/lots without splitting the source order line.
