Report Request Form - Suppress DataItem Tab

Hi.
I have four related reports - three are derivations of one original. Each has only one DataItem, 'Integer', and all have one text field on the Request Form 'Options' tab. I don't want/need the 'Integer' tab to appear when the report is run.
One report works fine - there is no 'Interger' tab, but the other three all display that unwanted tab.
I've exported the 'good' report and an example of a 'bad' one to txt files and carefully compared them to see if I can spot the difference - but nothing appears to differ in the properties. :-k
Has anyone got any suggestions as to why this is happening?
Thanks in advance.

If you select a sorting key of the dataitem properties it will disappear if your request filter fields is blank.0
