Hi,
I have installed everthing required to setup Employee Portal but now when I try to run Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision Application Server KCPL6-SQL service it is giving me following error:
Could not start the Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision Application Server KCPL6-SQL service on Local Computer.
Error 1: Incorrect fucntion.
Same error is also on Event Viewer.
What is the solution for this error? :!:
Second thing is that if I try to create Application Server in NAS than thowing error message: Unable to locate Application Server 'KCPL6-SQL' running on computer 'KCPL6/SQL2000'.
What is this ? ](*,)
I have installed following things on my computer (everything has been installed on same computer):
I have install Navision 4.0 SP1 (Employee Portal) using following steps:
1 Install Microsoft Windows 2003
2 Install Microsoft IIS
3 Install Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1
4 Install Microsoft Message Queueing Services
5 Install Microsoft Sharepoint Services
6 Install Microsoft Visual J# .NET Framework Redistributable Package
7 Install Navision Database Server or SQL Option 4.01
8 Install Navision Client
9 Install NAS
10 Install Navison Employee Portal Front End Components
I am using Navision SQL Version (not Native version).
I am able to run NEP using Native version but not with SQL!
If you know what is the problem than let me know.

Check the settings of your NAS for SQL. You can use the MMC Snapin for Navision Application Server...0
-
Did you create the right users and set the NAS login account in Windows Services? Did you add that user account to your Navision database?0

Don't use an image attachment to display your error message. In NAV, you can use Ctrl-C on a error message, to capture the error in text format, so you can paste that in your posting.
Why?
a) to conserve disk space
b) people with the same error can't use search to find your topic, as you can't search in imagesNo support using PM or e-mail - Please use this forum. BC TechDays 2024: 13 & 14 June 2024, Antwerp (Belgium)0
