What is the difference between Basic And Advanced Analytics.

Would you recommend Analytics or is there something better for Analysing and Reporting on NAV

    Hi,
    The difference between the Basic and Advanced options is that Basic provides the ability to build cubes from inside Microsoft Dynamics NAV but does not contain in it self any way of use the cubes in analyzing data. The Advanced feature provides a frontend to the cubes that can be created with the Basic option.

    Basic:

    a) Data mart Configuration (+ default cubes).
    b) Can be accessed with Microsoft Excel or other third-party front-end.

    Advanced:

    a) Business Analytics Server.
    b) Business Analytics Client.
    c) Business Analytics Web Client.
