Dynamics AX 40 - AOT & Project Toolbar Buttons Disabled?

Hi All,

I am working on a virtual image of AX 40.
But the AOT and Projects toolbar buttons are disabled / greyed out?

Where do you activate these buttons?
Why will it be disabled?

    Are you sure you are allowed to see those buttons? Check the user rights.

    Looks like you don't have development license?
    Press ctrl+d and import some projects, restart the client.

    The buttons should be enabled the next time you start AX.

    Indeed you where right.
    License file was incorrect and did not activate these modules.

    Got the correct license file, import it and now all is working fine.
