Error in Creation of Report layout

When i design any report and click
view-Layout it gives following error.
The Provided metadata is not valid.

I installed visual studio 2005 full version...

check that you have started MS Dynamics NAV Server service or not if not then start it.

Then go to C:\Programfiles\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\60\Service
open CustomeSetting.xml file and int that chech that your server for RTC is DynamicsNAV or not and set "Database Name" with name of Database that you want to access through RTC.
save it and then RUN RTC.
