Hi all,
I am trying to make a backup of the db into SQL server mode option of navision. Before proceeding to retore i am trying to create a new db wherein i want to restore my backup file. when i try to crete a new db by following this path File -> Database -> New, i can able to get the New database dialog screen. In that i am specying the db name and then i am going to the collation tab and selecting the SQL Option and i am selecting the collation description as Western-European dictionary sort order, code page 1252, case-insensitive,accent-sensitive (52). when i click ok button. i am getting the following error message
"The double-byte character set, code page 950, on your computer is not supported by this version of Microsoft Business solutions – Navision".
if anybody knows how to rectify this problem , please give me the soltuion.
Thanks in advance,

See Article 915374 on PartnerSource Knowledge base. This explains how to enable DBCS in NAV. This may help your situation. (I've never tried it)There are no bugs - only undocumented features.0
