company Address not previwing in report

I would like to show the company Phone in the report. In global variables i have added company Information record.In Header section , i have taken textbox control and given sourceexpr as CompanyInformation."Phone No.", saved and seen the preview of the report. But the Company's phone no is not showing in the report. I have checked company information table, all the company information is fed in that table including phone numbers. I don't understand what is the reason? pls help me.

Write the following code in onprereport trigger

CompInfo.GET;

where CompInfo is Company Inforormation

Yep, your variable refers to a table, but you haven't told NAV to go get a record from that table yet. Since there is only one record in CompanyInformation you can just do a .GET

If you haven't already check out GET, SETRANGE, SETFILTER, and all of the FIND functions in the client help.
