RTC only with SQL Server?

I have read many info about NAV2009, but still I have a little confussion ... :oops:
With RTC (Role Tailored Client) is only possible to connect to a SQL Server Database?
After reading info and use the demo, I think so. But I'm not totally sure of this.

Yes, only sql server, and only windows authentication.0
