Creating Roles

Hi Experts,

I need to Create Roles like

Purchase Order --> Receive,Invoice
Sales Order --> Ship,Invoice

but my problem is how to give the permissions based on the Roles like Receive,Ship,Invoice. Is there any PDF to assign the permissions.

    There is only a chapter in the admin pdf for the roles.
    But did you take a look into the default roles?
    There exist a role like "Sales-Q/O/I/C, Post" (Salesorder etc. post). This role allowes the user to post a sales document.
    The creating of new, own roles, with the new customized object is a job that nobody like ;-)
    But there exist for roles and permission creating. It's dedect not all objects, but the most. The name is, as i know ... "User Rights Setup".
    May be it's in the downloadsection.
