Item Sales Budget

Hi,

I want to be able to enter item sales budgets per product group dimension. In the 'Sales Budget Overview' screen I have selected my product groups dimension in the 'Show as Lines' option and 'Period' in the 'Show as Columns' option. However as soon as I attempt to key in my budget figure for the month I get the following message :

"You must specify Item No. in Item Budget Entry Entry No.='1'."

This suggests that you can only enter sales budgets for a specific item number, but if that's the case then what is the point of being able to choose a dimension code for the budget lines?

Has anybody entered sales budgets per dimension rather than per individual item number?

    I believe that you have modifications, because in standard version we have no problem with this.

    Hi,

    There are no customisations, I found that you must have the dimension the budget is being made against selected as either a customer group (S&R Setup), salesperson group (S&R Setup) or item product group (Inventory Setup).
