Journal Line Dimension Already Exists

Our client gets the following error while trying to post a Gen. Journal Entry:

The Journal Line Dimension already exists.

Identification fields and values:
Table ID='81',Journal Template Name='General', Jrounal Batch Name='Intercompany', Journal Line No.='140000',Allocation Line No.='0',InterCompany=",DImension Code='Dept;

Any ideas on what causes this error and how I go about fixing it would be greatly appreaciated.

    is there are some customized source, for example in CU 12 / 13 ?

    If you have customization that calls a codeunit that calls the posting codeunit, then look to see if you are creating the journal dimensions in the permanent table.
    Posting codeunits usually cal the journal post with the dimensions stored in a temporary table and deletes these after posting.
