triggering another program to run

Hi, i want to click a command button on navision that will trigger another application different from navision to run. How can i achieve this?

    use the C/AL command shell or search the forum for WSH.run or WSH.execute

    how can i embed the username and password so that the system won't ask me for user log in?

    you need a "remote control" from NAV to an 3-rd App and this 3-rd app need a login?
    So, you can use sendkeys to login or you check if this application has a api that you can use for connection.
    Do you make it right, it works too!
